Mark’s World Famous Candied Smushed
Yams (a holiday tradition) 2 40 oz Cans Pricilla Sweet
Potatoes (yams in light syrup) 1 stick
Imperial Light Margarine or Challenge Butter 1 cup C & H Light Brown
Sugar 1 big dash McCormick’s
Cinnamon 1 small dash McCormick’s
Pumpkin Pie Spice 1 bag Kraft Mini Marshmallows In a large frying pan, heat
drained yams. Add stick of margarine/butter and mush together using a potato masher.
Add brown sugar, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and 1/2 the bag of marshmallows. Smash all
ingredients together. Flop mixture into a Corningware
French White baking dish. Heat in oven covered for 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
Top with the remaining marshmallows and bake for another 10 minutes. Remove
from oven and enjoy. Caution: ingredients may be
